Once the PIS account is opened then the demat & trading account opening process is similar to a resident Indian. The documents required for demat account opening are as follows.

NRE account helps you do investment on non-repatriable basis. It means you can deposit dollars into the account which will be converted into Indian rupee for the further investment. You cannot deposit amount in Indian rupee in NRE account. You can withdraw money in Indian rupee currency from NRE account

The NRO accounts helps NRI’s to manage the income earned in India through investments, rents, dividends, etc. The account holder can easily manage the rupee funds through his NRO account.
