Margin pledging allows you to leverage the value of your existing shares to obtain additional funds for trading. By pledging eligible securities from your Demat account, you can access extra margin to invest in shares, futures, and options.

Important Note: While you can pledge any shares held in your Demat account, not all shares qualify for margin benefits. Only securities approved by the exchange are eligible for margin pledging. To maximize the benefits of pledging, please check the list of approved scrips for the current month before proceeding.

We provide a detailed list of approved scrips and applicable haircuts on our website every month.

Please note that a standard pledging charge applies to all pledged securities, regardless of eligibility for margin benefits.
